About the Authors of Rebuilt
Fr. Michael White and Tom Corcoran are the authors of the best selling, award winning book Rebuilt: Awakening the Faithful, Reaching the Lost, and Making Church Matter (2013) and the leaders of the Church of the Nativity in Timonium, MD.
Fr. Michael White
Fr. Michael White received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland and graduate degrees in Sacred Theology and Ecclesiology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. After being ordained a priest in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, he served as priest-secretary to Cardinal William Keeler, Archbishop of Baltimore and President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. During that time, Father Michael also served as the director of the papal visit of Pope John Paul II to Baltimore.
During his tenure as pastor of Church of the Nativity, the parish has tripled in attendance to over 4,000 at their Timonium campus, with thousands more on their online campus, churchnativity.com. Along with the award winning, best selling book Rebuilt, Father Michael and Tom have co-authored numerous books, seasonal devotionals and articles. They have spoken at church conferences around the world.

Thomas Corcoran received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland and completed graduate studies in theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Tom has served Church of the Nativity in a variety of roles that give him a unique perspective on parish ministry and leadership. Beginning as a youth minister, he later held positions as coordinator of children’s ministry and director of small groups. He currently serves in the position of associate to the pastor and is responsible for weekend message development, strategic planning, staff development, and fundraising.
Together with Father Michael, Tom has co-authored numerous award winning, best selling books, seasonal devotionals, articles and spoken at church conferences around the world.
