The Rebuilt Team is beyond honored to share the news that Archbishop Lori, on behalf of Pope Francis, has awarded the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice to both our pastor Fr. Michael White and our associate to the pastor Tom Corcoran.
Congratulations to the co-founders of Rebuilt Parish!
Fr. Michael and Tom attended the awards ceremony and reception held at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore. Following the awards, Sky Woodward, Nativity's Parish Council President, spoke to Nativity's parishioners.
As Sky shared with our Nativity community, we would also like to properly extend to you, our Rebuilt Community:
“ The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice medal literally translated 'for Church and Pope' is the highest award granted by the Supreme Pontif for distinguished and meritorious service benefiting the whole church and is commended by the Pope himself.
While Fr. Michael and Tom are deeply humbled to receive such a high honor, they do so on behalf of the whole Church of the Nativity community and Rebuilt Parish. This honor is your honor. It is our honor and recognition of what together we have accomplished here and the positive impact Nativity and Rebuilt have had on parishes elsewhere. "
Watch the Rebuilt Right Now video above to hear Sky's full recognition and see photos from the awards ceremony!
THANK YOU for being a part of Rebuilt Parish movement - together we are transforming and strengthening local Catholic parishes across the world.
