Partner Spotlight on St. Albert the Great

Keep Austin weird. I love that motto.

I want to update you on one of our new parish partners – St. Albert the Great in the diocese of Austin, Texas. This parish is led by Father Charlie Garza who arrived in July of 2019, right before the Covid Crisis. Father Charlie did an excellent job of leading the parish through that incredibly difficult time.

Father Charlie has a great vision for bringing together the Hispanic and Anglo members of his community for the common mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ. St. Albert the Great is located in the Domain section of Austin - one of the most unchurched areas in the city. They are very focused on reaching the lost, especially millennials.

They truly get that the Church doesn’t exist just for “church people” but for the world. We are grateful for the opportunity to coach Father Charlie as they become a church that people who don’t like church like.

Please join me in praying for the community of St. Albert the Great and their leaders.

If I can be praying for you in anyway please email me at [email protected]
